OUR HISTORY

The International Relations Student Association (HIMAHI) is a student organization under the auspices of the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Global Studies at Budi Luhur University. HIMAHI is present as a forum for international relations students to develop academic potential, leadership, and increase awareness of various dynamics of national and international issues.

The formation of HIMAHI is motivated by the student’s need for space that is able to accommodate aspirations, ideas, and creativity in the scientific field of international relations. Through this organization, students not only gain an understanding of theory in the classroom, but also have the opportunity to apply knowledge through various academic activities, such as scientific discussions, seminars, and student capacity building programs.

Over time, HIMAHI continues to develop into an active and dynamic organization in the campus environment. Various activities such as international seminars, global issues study, diplomatic training, to community service activities are part of HIMAHI’s efforts to increase the insight and ability of students to understand various phenomena in international relations.

In its journey, HIMAHI not only focuses on academic development, but also instills the values of togetherness, leadership, and social responsibility. This organization encourages students to actively contribute, both on campus and in the community.

By upholding cultural and human values, HIMAHI continues to grow and develop from time to time. The journey of this organization was built on the spirit of togetherness, selfless dedication, and unlimited loyalty from its members. These values become an important foundation in shaping HIMAHI as a student organization that is solid, progressive, and able to make a real contribution to the development of science and the wider community.

Until now, HIMAHI continues to be committed to being a development space for international relations students at Budi Luhur University to be able to become a critical, integrity, and ready young generation to face various global challenges in the future.
